The new Torrington Fire Station was designed to be completed in 3 phases to maintain an operational fire station throughout construction. The new fire station encompasses over 19,000 square feet and houses apparatus bays, administration offices, a full service kitchen, ADA restrooms, and a day room for volunteer fire fighters.
The building was designed with helpful input from the Owner to best meet their highly specialized needs. The design also incorporates spaces that allow the fire fighters to practice fire fighting techniques within the safety of their own structure.
