The Wyrulec electric cooperative corporate facility in Lingle, Wyoming includes 32,770 square feet of total space with full corporate offices and conference space in the front of the facility. Equipment and vehicle storage, testing, and truck parking are in the rear of the facility. The design incorporated energy saving features including an Energy Star rated white PVC roof and tubular sky lights throughout to reduce the need for artificial lighting. The entire facility utilizes a ground loop geothermal heat pump for all of its heating and cooling needs.
The site work included the installation of a stand-alone fire suppression system with a 35,000 gallon underground storage tank, septic system and separate floor drain system. The total project cost is approximately $4.0 million and was completed January 2013.
