The Regional West Medical Center NICU remodel project was completed in 2012. An aggressive and tight timeline required the design team to act fast in preparing construction documents. The design team met with staff and administration to determine the programming requirements and to meet all of the challenges of construction while maintaining a fully functional birth and infant care center. The design features a much more inviting space for the patients and families while creating a more efficient working space for the medical staff. The end result met the needs of all involved parties, and was constructed with minimal setbacks and problems.
